I'm 157cm. Never been a problem - until I moved to New Zealand in 2014. I've made peace with my height. What I haven't made peace with is spending my entire corporate career in workwear that wasn't built for me.

When I started my 9-5, I wanted to dress the part. Properly. Suits, tailored pieces, a wardrobe I actually felt confident in. The kind of outfit you put on and walk into a room differently.

Instead, the only petite option I could find was Shein. Anything premium was just a default too big for me.

I then posted a video on TikTok asking petite women about their height and size. Nearly 100 comments - and that was the moment I knew.

18 months of building while working 9-5. No experience in fashion. No manufacturing contacts. No rulebook. Just a conviction that petite workwear in New Zealand deserved to exist - and the stubbornness to figure it out from scratch.

It's been the hardest thing I've ever built - and the most worthwhile. I hope my pieces make you feel exactly how you deserve to feel at work. And I hope you enjoy watching this come to life as much as I've loved building it.
